Our Medical Director, Dr. Lloyd Krieger, is going to Egypt to perform specialized nerve surgery. While there he will work at a hospital in Cairo to treat a child who is quadriplegic and confined to a ventilator. The surgery is designed to help the patient breathe without the machine. Dr. Krieger is being brought there by the Egyptian government. We will keep you updated.
