Lipo Info

Liposuction is an elective cosmetic surgery procedure that has become more popular among both me and women. Liposuction is well suited for men and women who are a relatively normal weight but have isolated pockets of fat that cause certain areas of the body to appear disproportionate. These localized fat deposits may be an inherited trait and typically do not respond to diet or exercise.
This procedure is a great solution to eliminate these troubling areas. It is possible to undergo liposuction at most any age, but you will obtain the best results if your skin has enough elasticity to achieve a smooth contour following the procedure. The best candidates for liposuction are those patients that have localized fat or wish to contour any of the following areas; cheeks, upper arms, breast or chest areas, abdomen and waist, hips and buttocks, inner and outer thighs, calves and ankles.
The way liposuction is performed is that first a small hollow tube, called a cannula is inserted through a tiny incision. The incisions are usually less than one-quarter inch in length and is placed so that it will be discrete. Guided by the surgeon, the suction device is vacuums out the unwanted fat. The entire length of the surgery will take anywhere between one to three hours. After surgery you will not look any better for the first few days. It is important after surgery to move around to promote blood circulation. You will notice swelling and bruising after surgery. Swelling will begin to subside a week following surgery, while bruising may last two to three weeks after surgery. You may return to work a few days following the procedure. After a few weeks you can shop for your new clothes for that slimmer bod!

Implants

Breast augmentation surgery is performed to increase the size and fullness of the breasts. Uneven breast sizes may also be improved by the use of different volumes in each breast implant. A breast reduction or a breast lift procedure can reshape and resize the breast without implants. During a breast augmentation procedure the doctor will either use silicone or saline implants. Silicone implants are an FDA approved gel implant. Saline implants have a silicone rubber shell that is inflated to the desired size with sterile saline. Once you decide upon the type of implant you want you will then schedule a date to have the procedure done. The procedure is done with general anesthesia at Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery. The entire procedure usually takes two hours. Once you are done with surgery you will go to our recovery room for an additional two hours. You will be able to leave the day of surgery but must have someone drive you home and stay with you that night as well. It is important that once you return home you stay elevated as much as possible. It is also imporant that you move around and you are not on strict bed rest. You will be able to return to work within three to five days. You will be able to return to strenous activities within three to six weeks of Beverly Hills breast implants.

Mommy Makeover

Becoming a mom is one of the greatest joys in the world. But it can also cause the a good deal of stress to a woman’s body. To make room for the baby, the skin grows which can lead to stretch marks, the muscles of the abdomen can stretch, and the breast can lose their volume. In some cases even cellulite and weight gain can occur that diet and exercise do not help.

Mommy Makeover is a combination of procedures that are designed to treat each individual's needs. These procedures can includ: California breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, or liposuction. A flat and well toned abdomen is something many of us strive for through weight control and exercise. Abdominoplasty, otherwise known as a tummy tuck, is a procedure performed to remove excess skin and fatty tissues from the abdominal. The procedure can also restore weakened or separated muscles that will create a smoother and firmer abdomen.

One of the other common procedures to do with a mommy makeover is a breast augmentation. During pregnancy, the breasts will change and enlarge as they prepare to store and make milk. After breast feeding a baby for several months, many women begin to notice that their breasts have shrunk and even sagging in their beast has occurred. There are two types of implants a woman can choose from. First, are saline implants. Saline implants have a silicone rubber shell that are inflated to the desired size with a sterile saline. The second type of implant is a silicone implant. Silicone implants have a silicone rubber shell that is filled with a fixed amount of silicone gel. During the consultation you will also discuss the placement of the implant, and where the incision will be made with the doctor. The mommy makeover is a great way to jump start a new you! Rhinoplasty Issues

Rhinoplasty, which is also known as a nose job or nasal surgery, is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures. Correction of a deviated septum is also becoming more and more common. Some people are unhappy with the nose they were born with and others are
unhappy with the way their nose has changed with their age. In either case, this surgery is a procedure that can simultaneously correct the function and improve the appearance of the nose as well. Even a slight altercation to the nose can help with one’s appearance to their nose. In many cases a rhinotplasty can lead to many people feeling more self-confident and improving their overall look. The procedure should be done after one has finished most of their growing, and this is an important consideration with teenage rhinoplasty.

A septoplasty corrects the deviated septum and to help one’s breathing. The septum
and the nasal structures that are obstructing the breathing are corrected and to improve the breathing and to straighten the nasal deviations. During both of these procedure the patient is put under general anesthesia. The recovery time for a rhinoplasty and septoplasty is between a week to ten days. There must not be any strenuous activity for at least four to six weeks. Prior to going forward, it is important to understand the procedure and its recovery, including such issues as Beverly Hills rhinoplasty prices.

Armed Forces

In many ways, military personnel and their families stand out from the rest of us. They tend to have an usual sense of valor and honor. They are willing to make sacrifices for higher goals. But in other ways, many are similar to the rest of us. Some are concerned with their appearance. They may want a slimmer tummy. They may want their midsection tightened following pregnancy. And they may want to get rid of fine lines in the face.

This is where military plastic surgery comes into play. There are some organizations that will provide discounts to members of the armed forces and their families. It does seem like the least that can be done for these people who give so much and ask so little in return.
